Welcome to Laerning Tool!

This is a software project to help people make flash cards to test themselves on things they want to learn.

Except the flash cards aren't on paper, they are digital. Even better - they are hosted on an API (website for programs) that you can access from any client (website, app etc.) that supports the OpenAPI specification (a file describing how to use the engine) or XML file format.

Because the entire engine is digital, it can support better functionality than standard flash cards.

• Share datasets with other people
• Create datasets that aren't just 2-sided cards. Multiple choice, free-text, ChatGPT interpretation, subset of words, closest-value-wins, flipping to answer-question, and many more.
• Sampling of questions based on previous activities (which questions you got wrong, which questions you haven't answered in a long time)
• Statistics. Everyone loves a dashboard and a number.
• Centralised authorisation - host this however you want and be in charge of your data.
